Goals

The project goal is to create ecologically and environmentally conscious rural and urban communities that seek and implement appropriate waste management systems/approaches to reduce health risks and improve the well-being of the community and environment.
The ultimate target is Building a Zero Waste community towards ending environmental health risks and community wellbeing in Bangladesh.

Objectives

To develop skilled community
To develop the zero-waste community both in urban and rural areas.
To ensure environment-friendly waste management system in everyday life through creating awareness among people
Turning the wastes into resources
To promote alternative livelihood
To create mass awareness
To assist government implement relevant law and legislation
Capacity building and training
To establish partnership and linkage with the communities and the local government and other relevant agencies ultimately to develop a model of “zero waste community”
Capacity Building: will include training and possible technical assistance to government and non-government institutions
To conduct high-level policy dialogues
